LFbandet

LFbandet is a Swedish indie rock band formed in Stockholm in 2006. The band consists of four members: Johan Lindström (vocals, guitar), Johan Östling (guitar, vocals), Johan Östling’s brother, Johan Östling Jr. (bass), and Johan Östling’s cousin, Johan Östling III (drums). Despite the shared surname, the band members are not closely related; the name "LFbandet" is a playful reference to the Swedish phrase "Lilla Farsan," meaning "Little Daddy," which humorously ties into their shared last name.

LFbandet gained recognition for their energetic live performances and catchy, melodic indie rock sound, blending influences from punk, pop, and alternative rock. Their debut album, *Lilla Farsan* (2008), showcased their knack for witty lyrics and infectious hooks, earning them a cult following in Sweden.
