L35A
L35A is a variant of the L35, a series of Soviet-designed, single-engine, low-wing monoplane light aircraft. The L35A was developed in the 1930s and was primarily used for training and light transport purposes. It featured a fixed, conventional landing gear and was powered by a Shvetsov M-11 engine, which provided a modest amount of power for its size. The aircraft had a crew of two, consisting of a pilot and an instructor or passenger. The L35A was known for its simplicity and reliability, making it a popular choice for military and civilian training programs. It was also used for light transport duties, such as courier and medical evacuation missions. The L35A saw service with various Soviet and Eastern Bloc air forces during the interwar period and World War II. Despite its age, the L35A remains an important part of aviation history, representing the early days of Soviet aircraft design and production.
