L35 is a designation that can refer to several different entities, most notably a class of submarines and a specific model of pistol. The L35 submarine class, also known as the *U-boat Type L-35*, was a German submarine project that did not progress beyond the design phase. It was conceived during World War I as a potential successor to existing U-boat designs, intended to incorporate enhanced capabilities. However, the war concluded before any construction could begin, and the L35 submarine class remained purely theoretical.

In a different context, L35 also refers to a semi-automatic pistol developed by the Finnish arms manufacturer Valmet. This handgun was designed in the 1970s and was intended to compete in the market for service pistols. The L35 Valmet pistol was chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum and featured a distinct design for its time. Production of the L35 pistol was relatively limited, and it is now considered a collector's item.
