Lóth

Lóth is a fictional character from the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, appearing in his Middle-earth legendarium. He is a Maia, one of the highest order of the Ainur, the spiritual beings who aided Eru Ilúvatar in the creation of Arda. Lóth is often referred to as the "Lover of Men," as he is deeply devoted to the children of Ilúvatar, particularly the Edain, the first human race of Middle-earth.
