Közvetítsenek

Közvetítsenek is a form of the Hungarian verb közvetíteni, primarily used as the third-person plural present subjunctive (often appearing in clauses with hogy or hadd). It expresses a wish, suggestion, or hypothetical action by multiple subjects, rather than a simple indicative statement. In ordinary speech the subjunctive form is less common, but it remains frequent in formal, legal, diplomatic, and administrative Hungarian, where precise mood and nuance are important.

Meaning and usage

Közvetíteni means to convey, mediate, or transmit information and messages. The form közvetítsenek preserves this core sense and turns the action into a proposed or desired act carried out by several agents. It is typically found in subordinate clauses or set phrases that describe what the agents should or could do, often after verbs of request, permission, or obligation, or in direct quoted wishes. The phrase can appear with or without particles such as hogy or hadd, depending on the syntactic structure of the sentence.
