Kæmpestene
Kæmpestene, also known as the Giant Stones or Giant’s Stones, are a series of large, ancient megaliths located in the Jutland region of Denmark. These standing stones are part of a larger group of prehistoric monuments scattered across the country, primarily dating back to the Neolithic period, around 3500–1500 BCE. The name "kæmpestene" translates to "giant stones," reflecting the folklore that these structures were once believed to have been placed by giants.
The most famous site is the **Grimstrup Kæmpestene**, located near the village of Grimstrup in northern Jutland.
