Kyrria

Kyrria is a fictional sovereign nation on the eastern shores of the Kyrric Sea, comprising a continental peninsula and a chain of offshore islands. The country has a temperate climate with maritime influences and varied terrain that includes a central mountain spine, fertile southern plains, and northern conifer forests. The capital and largest city is Veloria, while other important urban centers include Norin and Lyris. The population is about 4.2 million. The official language is Kyrrish; minority languages include Larian and Mirthan, and English is widely used in business.

Kyrria operates as a parliamentary republic. The President serves as head of state, and the Prime Minister is the head of government. The unicameral Assembly of Kyrria legislates, with elections held every four years. The judiciary is independent.

Historically, Kyrria emerged from regional lordships into a unified state in the early modern period, gained independence in 1903, and established a constitutional framework in 1952. It has since pursued economic modernization and regional integration, joining the Aurora Pact trade bloc in 2008.

Economy: Kyrria has a diversified economy. Agriculture focuses on grains, wine grapes, and orchard crops; forestry and timber are important in the north; manufacturing includes machinery and electronics components; services dominate, notably finance and tourism. The Kyrran is the currency.
