Kvanttiulottuvuus

Kvanttiulottuvuus is a Finnish term that translates to "quantum dimension" in English. It refers to the concept of dimensions beyond the three spatial dimensions and one time dimension that we perceive in our everyday experience, as theorized in quantum mechanics and related fields like string theory. These additional dimensions are typically proposed to be compactified or curled up at extremely small scales, making them unobservable through direct means.

The idea of extra dimensions arises from attempts to unify fundamental forces in physics, such as gravity and quantum mechanics. Theories like string theory suggest that the universe might possess ten or even more dimensions, with the extra ones being so small they are effectively hidden from us.
