Kupferfarbene
Kupferfarbene is a color term in German used to describe a copper-like hue. The adjective is derived from Kupfer (copper) and farben (to color) and is inflected according to gender, for example kupferfarbene Kleidung or der kupferfarbene Lack. In practice, kupferfarbene denotes a warm, metallic shade that can range from bright orange-red copper to deeper brownish copper, depending on material, finish, and lighting.
