UV-curable adhesives harden rapidly when exposed to ultraviolet light, offering precise application and quick bonding for transparent plastics.

When using plastic adhesives, proper surface preparation is crucial for optimal bond strength. This typically involves cleaning the surfaces to remove dirt, grease, and other contaminants, and sometimes abrading the surface to improve adhesion. Following the manufacturer's instructions regarding application, curing time, and temperature is essential for achieving a reliable bond. Safety precautions, such as working in a well-ventilated area and using protective equipment, should also be observed.
