Kultainennoutaja
The kultainennoutaja, more commonly known as the Golden Retriever, is a medium-large breed of dog. Developed in Scotland in the mid-19th century by Dudley Marjoribanks, later known as Lord Tweedmouth, the breed was initially created to retrieve shot waterfowl, such as ducks and upland game birds, during hunting and shooting parties. The Golden Retriever's lineage includes the Tweed Water Spaniel (now extinct), the Irish Setter, the Bloodhound, and possibly a St. John's Water Dog and a Ruff or Collie type.
