Krympförpackning

Krympförpackning, also known as shrink wrap or shrink packaging, is a method of packaging products by covering them with a plastic film. This film is then heated, causing it to shrink tightly around the product, creating a secure and tamper-evident seal. The materials commonly used for krympförpackning are polyethylene, polypropylene, and PVC. The choice of film depends on factors such as the product's shape, weight, and required level of protection.

The process typically involves placing the item to be packaged on a conveyor belt, where it is then enveloped by the plastic film. Specialized heat tunnels or heat guns are used to apply controlled heat, initiating the shrinking process. The film conforms to the contours of the product, providing a snug fit that protects against dust, moisture, and damage during transit and storage.

Krympförpackning offers several advantages. It is a cost-effective packaging solution, especially for irregularly shaped items. It also enhances product presentation by offering a clear view of the contents and can improve handling and stacking stability.
