Kragha's history begins in the early medieval era when metallurgists and refugee artisans settled there after regional upheavals. Over centuries it evolved into a fortified commercial hub, its defenses expanding as rivals threatened the plateau. The government operates under a dual system: a hereditary lord who performs ceremonial duties and a Council of Guildmasters elected from leading craft and trade guilds who manage day-to-day governance, budgets, and diplomacy.
