Kouristuminen
Kouristuminen, commonly known as cramping, is a sudden, involuntary contraction of one or more muscles. These contractions can be intensely painful and temporary. While the exact causes of kouristuminen are not always clear, several factors are commonly associated with its occurrence. These include dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, muscle fatigue, prolonged sitting or standing in unusual positions, and certain medical conditions or medications.
