Koordinaionssvårigheter, often referred to as coordination difficulties, describes a range of challenges individuals may experience in performing smooth, controlled, and purposeful movements. These difficulties are not indicative of a specific disease but rather a symptom or characteristic that can stem from various underlying causes.

The spectrum of coordination problems can manifest in several ways. Some individuals may struggle with fine motor skills, such as buttoning clothes, writing, or using utensils. Others might have issues with gross motor skills, affecting activities like walking, running, jumping, or maintaining balance. This can lead to clumsiness, frequent tripping, or an unsteady gait.
