Kontrolllastusi

Kontrolllastusi is a term that appears in some Estonian-language technical writings and is used to refer to sets of controlled or test loads used for validation and measurement in engineering contexts. The word is formed from kontroll- “control” and last “load,” with a plural-form suffix. The exact meaning of kontrolllastusi varies by discipline and language, and in English-language texts it would typically be translated as “control loads” or “controlled loads.”

In power and electrical engineering, kontrolllastusi often denotes programmable loads or load banks that can be commanded to draw specific electrical profiles—certain currents, voltages, or power factors—during testing. Such control loads enable the evaluation of generators, transformers, uninterruptible power supplies, or grid equipment under simulated operating conditions. A collection or sequence of these loads used in a single test is described as kontrolllastusi.
