Konteineritõstuk, also known as a container handler or straddle carrier, is a heavy-duty vehicle used for lifting and moving intermodal containers in various locations such as ports, railway yards, and storage depots. These machines are essential for the efficient transfer of goods between different modes of transport, playing a critical role in the global logistics chain.

There are several types of container handlers. Straddle carriers are the most common, capable of lifting containers and driving over them to transfer them between trucks, trains, or other containers. Reach stackers are another type, offering greater flexibility and reach, allowing them to stack containers higher and reach further into a yard. Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Automated Stacking Cranes (ASCs) represent the more modern, automated solutions in container handling.

The primary function of a konteineritõstuk is to reduce the time and labor required for loading and unloading containers. They are equipped with specialized attachments, often called spreaders, that secure the container by engaging with its corner castings. The operation of these vehicles requires skilled operators due to their size and the precise maneuvering needed to avoid damage to containers or surrounding infrastructure.
