Kompromissprojektion refers to a psychological phenomenon where individuals project their own unacceptable desires or impulses onto others. This defense mechanism allows the person to avoid confronting their own internal conflicts by attributing them to someone else. For example, someone who harbors aggressive feelings might accuse others of being hostile towards them.
