Kompositingot is a term referring to the process of combining multiple visual elements from different sources into a single, cohesive image. This technique is widely used in various fields, including film, television, photography, and digital art. The primary goal of compositing is to create an illusion of reality or an artistic composition that would be difficult or impossible to achieve through traditional methods.

The fundamental principle of compositing involves layering different images or video clips on top of each other. This method allows for the removal of a specific color from an image or video, enabling the insertion of a different background. Rotoscoping is another technique, where animators trace over live-action footage frame by frame to create realistic animated characters or effects. Furthermore, digital matte painting involves creating realistic backgrounds or environments that are then composited into scenes. Advanced compositing often involves sophisticated software that can track camera movement, match lighting conditions, and seamlessly blend disparate elements, making the final image appear natural and believable.
