Kløtsjsystemer, often translated as clutch systems, are mechanical devices that transmit or disengage power between a driving component and a driven component. Their primary function is to allow for smooth starting, stopping, and changing of gears in a mechanical system. The operation typically involves friction surfaces that are brought into contact to engage the drive and separated to disengage it.
