Kleptomaniacal
Kleptomaniacal refers to a pattern of behavior characterized by an irresistible urge to steal items, even though the items are not needed for personal use or for their monetary value. This condition is classified as an impulse control disorder. Individuals who exhibit kleptomaniacal tendencies do not typically plan their thefts; rather, they act impulsively when the urge arises. They often feel a sense of mounting tension before the act of stealing and experience pleasure, gratification, or relief during the act. Following the theft, there is usually a period of guilt, shame, or fear of being caught.
Kleptomania is distinct from ordinary theft, which is usually motivated by financial need or greed. The stolen
