Kilohertsialueen
Kilohertsialueen refers to a range of radio frequencies measured in kilohertz (kHz). This portion of the electromagnetic spectrum is typically used for long-range radio communication, including maritime and aeronautical navigation, as well as standard AM (amplitude modulation) broadcasting. Frequencies in the kilohertz range have longer wavelengths, which allows them to travel over the horizon by diffracting around the curvature of the Earth. This characteristic makes them suitable for applications where a wide coverage area is desired.
The kilohertz band is generally divided into several sub-bands. The lowest part of this spectrum is often
Due to the relatively narrow bandwidth available in the kilohertz range, data transmission rates are limited
