Examples of circular economy practices include product-as-a-service models, where companies rent or lease products rather than selling them, and the use of biodegradable or compostable materials. The circular economy is a key component of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and is increasingly being adopted by businesses and governments around the world.
