This condition encompasses a range of issues, including oligomenorrhea, where cycles are excessively long (typically more than 35 days apart), and amenorrhea, the absence of menstruation for three or more consecutive cycles. Conversely, it can also involve polymenorrhea, where cycles occur too frequently (less than 21 days apart), or menorrhagia, which is excessively heavy or prolonged bleeding.
