Kantförhöjning is a Swedish term that translates to "edge raising" or "lip elevation." It refers to a surgical procedure, often performed in cosmetic dentistry, to improve the appearance of the lips. This technique aims to enhance the natural shape and contour of the lips, particularly the upper lip, by slightly elevating its edge. The goal is typically to create a more youthful and aesthetically pleasing look.

The procedure can involve various methods. One common approach is to carefully excise a small strip of skin from beneath the upper lip.
