Kénsavbázis refers to sulfur-based compounds that exhibit basic properties. While the term is not a standard chemical nomenclature, it can be understood as a conceptual grouping of substances where a sulfur atom is bonded to elements or groups that are more electropositive, and the sulfur atom itself or a group attached to it can accept a proton or act as a Lewis base. This contrasts with typical acidic sulfur compounds like sulfuric acid.
