Käyttöjarrulla

Käyttöjarrulla is a Finnish term that translates to "service brake" or "foot brake" in English. It refers to the primary braking system in a vehicle, operated by the driver's foot pedal. This system is designed for regular use during driving to slow down or stop the vehicle.

The operation of the käyttöjarrulla typically involves hydraulic pressure. When the driver presses the brake pedal, it activates a master cylinder, which in turn forces brake fluid through the brake lines. This fluid pressure is then applied to the brake pads or shoes at each wheel, creating friction against the brake discs or drums.
