Jännitysvoima
Jännitysvoima, or tension force, is a fundamental concept in physics describing the pulling force transmitted axially by means of a string, cable, chain, or similar one-dimensional object. When an object pulls on a string, the string pulls back on the object with a force of equal magnitude and opposite direction. This force is always directed along the length of the string and acts to pull the two ends of the string toward each other.
Tension arises from the electromagnetic forces between molecules within the string. When the string is stretched,
Examples of jännitysvoima are prevalent in everyday life and physics problems. A rope holding a weight, a
