Jännitevarastojen

Jännitevarastojen, also known as voltage stores or voltage reservoirs, are components in electronic circuits designed to hold or release electrical energy in the form of voltage. They are fundamentally different from typical energy storage devices like batteries, which store chemical energy and convert it to electrical energy. Jännitevarastojen primarily deal with the immediate electrical potential within a circuit.

One common form of jännitevarasto is a capacitor. A capacitor consists of two conductive plates separated by a dielectric material. When a voltage is applied across the plates, electric charge accumulates on them, creating an electric field in the dielectric. This stored charge represents potential energy. When the voltage source is removed, the capacitor can release this stored energy, acting as a temporary voltage source.

Another concept related to jännitevarastojen involves active electronic circuits that can maintain a specific voltage level despite variations in the input voltage or load. These are often implemented using voltage regulators. While not storing energy in the same way as a capacitor, they effectively "store" a desired voltage level by actively controlling the output.

The term jännitevarasto might also be used more broadly to describe any part of a circuit that exhibits a voltage difference and can influence the flow of current. This could include the inherent voltage drops across components like resistors or inductors, or even the output of a power supply before it reaches the load. The primary function is always related to the management and presence of electrical potential.
