Johtokiipeilyssä
Johtokiipeily, also known as rope climbing or simply climbing, is a discipline within the sport of climbing. In this form of climbing, the climber is protected by a rope, which is managed by a belayer on the ground or at a higher point. The rope runs through a device attached to the climber's harness and is secured by the belayer. If the climber falls, the belayer uses the rope system to catch them, preventing a significant fall.
There are two main types of rope climbing. Top-roping involves the rope being anchored at the top
Johtokiipeily can be performed on natural rock formations outdoors or on artificial climbing walls indoors. It
