Jogrendszerben

Jogrendszerben is a Hungarian adverb meaning “in the legal system” or “within the framework of the law.” The term combines jog (law) and rendszer (system) with the locative suffix -ben. It is used to refer to actions, rules, decisions, or discussions that pertain to the institutions and processes that govern how law is made, interpreted, and enforced.

A typical legal system includes sources of law (constitutions, statutes, regulations, case law), institutions (legislature, executive, judiciary), and procedural rules (courts, administrative agencies, dispute resolution). Core functions include enacting laws, applying them to resolve disputes, ensuring due process, and providing constitutional oversight. Courts interpret statutes; higher courts review constitutionality; law enforcement enforces compliance; prosecutors bring cases.

In discourse, statements about reforms, litigation outcomes, or policy proposals are often framed as issues arising “in the legal system” to indicate they affect legal rights, procedures, or the balance of powers rather than broader political or social spheres. The phrase thus signals a perspective grounded in law and legal institutions, rather than in politics, economics, or public opinion alone.
