Joashs
Joash, also known as Jehoash, was a king of Judah who reigned for forty years, from around 835 to 796 BCE. He ascended to the throne as a child, at the age of seven, after his father, King Ahaziah, was killed by Jehu during the latter's coup in Israel. Joash's grandmother, Athaliah, seized power after Ahaziah's death and attempted to eliminate the royal lineage of Judah. However, Joash was hidden by his aunt Jehosheba, the wife of the high priest Jehoiada, and was later crowned king in a revolt led by Jehoiada.
