Jetair

Jetair was a Dutch charter airline that was founded in 1976 by Arjo Jager in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The airline was initially named Arke, but was later renamed to Jetair in 1997. Jetair operated a fleet of Boeing 757 aircraft and offered scheduled and charter services to various destinations throughout Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.

The airline was known for its no-frills approach to air travel, offering affordable fares to a range of holiday destinations. Jetair was popular among leisure travelers and package tourists, who were attracted to the airline's low fares and convenient schedules.

In 2005, Jetair's parent company, Transavia, was acquired by Air France-KLM. As a result, Jetair's services were gradually integrated into the Transavia network, and the airline's brand was eventually phased out.

At its peak, Jetair operated a fleet of seven aircraft and offered a range of scheduled and charter services to over 50 destinations. Despite its relatively small size, the airline played an important role in the Dutch airline market and offered a popular alternative to the larger carriers operating in the region.

Today, the Jetair brand is no longer in operation, but its legacy lives on in the form of low-cost carriers such as Transavia, which continue to offer affordable and convenient air travel options to travelers throughout Europe.
