Jatkuvatislauksen
Jatkuvatislauksen, also known as continuous distillation, is a process used in chemical engineering to separate components of a liquid mixture based on differences in their boiling points. Unlike batch distillation, which processes a fixed amount of material at a time, continuous distillation operates with a constant feed of the mixture and a constant withdrawal of the separated products. This makes it highly efficient for large-scale industrial operations.
The core of a continuous distillation system is a distillation column, often a tall, cylindrical vessel. Inside
At the top of the column, the enriched vapor is collected, condensed, and withdrawn as the distillate.
