Jahanara
Jahanara Begum (1614–1681), also spelled Jahanara, was the eldest daughter of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. She grew up at the Mughal court in Delhi and became one of the most influential royal women of her time. As a senior member of the imperial harem and a close member of the royal family, she played a prominent role in court life and diplomacy, serving as a trusted adviser to her father and acting as a mediator in dynastic politics among her brothers and other court factions.
