JISstandarden, or Japanese Industrial Standards, are the national standards of Japan covering a broad range of products, services, and processes. They are developed by the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee (JISC), under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and published and maintained with the secretariat of the Japanese Standards Association (JSA).
