Itseinduktanssia
Itseinduktanssia, often referred to as inductance, is a fundamental property of an electrical conductor. It quantifies how effectively a changing electric current in a conductor induces a voltage in that same conductor. This phenomenon arises from the magnetic field generated by the current. As the current changes, the magnetic field also changes, and this changing magnetic field, in turn, induces an electromotive force (EMF) or voltage within the conductor itself, opposing the original change in current. This self-induced voltage is known as back EMF.
The unit of inductance is the Henry (H), named after American physicist Joseph Henry. One Henry represents
Inductance plays a crucial role in various electronic circuits, particularly in inductors, which are components designed
