Insektsvärmar

Insektsvärmar, a Swedish term, translates to "insect swarms" or "insect clouds" in English. It refers to the phenomenon where large numbers of flying insects congregate and move together in a cohesive mass. This behavior is common in many insect species, including mosquitoes, midges, gnats, and some species of bees and flies.

Swarming serves various purposes for insects. Often, it is a crucial part of their reproductive cycle. Males of certain species may form swarms to attract females, who then fly into the swarm to mate.
