Induktsioonrõngaid, often referred to as induction loops or hearing loops, are a valuable assistive listening technology. They create a magnetic field that can be picked up by compatible hearing aids or cochlear implants. This allows users to receive clear audio directly through their devices, bypassing ambient noise and poor acoustics that can make it difficult to understand speech in public places.

The system works by transmitting audio signals, such as speech from a microphone or sound from a speaker, to an induction loop amplifier. This amplifier then converts the audio signal into an electrical current that is sent through a coil of wire, typically installed around the perimeter of a room or area. The coil generates a fluctuating magnetic field, which is the induction loop. Hearing aids and cochlear implants equipped with a telecoil (T-coil) setting can tune into this magnetic field, translating it back into audible sound for the wearer.
