Idznaváltozásait, a Hungarian term translating to "changes in the riverbed" or "riverbed modifications," refers to alterations in the physical course or shape of a river's channel. These changes can occur naturally or be induced by human activity. Natural processes such as erosion, sedimentation, and tectonic shifts can gradually reshape a river's path over geological timescales. However, anthropogenic influences have become a significant driver of idznaváltozásait, particularly in recent centuries.

Human-induced idznaváltozásait often stem from efforts to control rivers for purposes like navigation, flood management, agriculture, and urbanization. Common interventions include channelization, where the river is straightened, deepened, or widened to facilitate easier passage for boats or to increase its capacity to carry water during floods. Construction of dams and levees also fundamentally alters a river's flow dynamics and sediment transport, leading to downstream changes in the riverbed. Furthermore, the extraction of sand and gravel from riverbeds for construction purposes can cause localized but significant idznaváltozásait.
