IXONs
IXONs are a family of industrial IoT platforms designed to connect, manage, and monitor industrial machines and assets. They are developed by IXON, a company based in the Netherlands. The core components of the IXONs platform include an industrial IoT gateway (IXrouter) and a cloud-based management portal (IXON Cloud). The IXrouter is installed on-site at the machine or asset and establishes a secure connection to the IXON Cloud. This connection enables remote access to the machine for diagnostics, troubleshooting, and software updates. The IXON Cloud provides a centralized dashboard where users can monitor machine performance, collect data, and configure alerts. The platform is designed to be user-friendly and scalable, allowing for the connection of a single machine or a large fleet of assets. IXONs are utilized across various industries, including manufacturing, food and beverage, and agriculture, to improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance service capabilities. The platform supports various communication protocols commonly used in industrial automation. Security is a key focus, with data encryption and secure network protocols employed to protect sensitive information.
