IFNA

IFNA, standing for International Federation of Netball Associations, was the international governing body for the sport of netball. It provided governance for the sport at the world level, promoting fair play and the standardization of rules, officiating, coaching, and player development. The federation coordinated international competition and represented member national associations in discussions with regional bodies and other sport organizations. It also supported the growth of netball through development programs and resource sharing.

IFNA organized the sport's premier international events, most notably the Netball World Cup, which developed out of the earlier World Netball Championships and continues as the sport's flagship event under its successor organization. The federation maintained a structure of national member associations and regional networks to manage participation, rankings, and eligibility for international play.

During the early 2000s, IFNA rebranded as the International Netball Federation (INF) as part of a modernization effort. In subsequent years the INF adopted the global brand World Netball for public-facing activities while the legal entity continued under INF. World Netball remains the international governing body responsible for strategic direction, global competitions, and the promotion of netball worldwide.
