Hyperevolutionary is a term used to describe a hypothetical or fictional concept where the process of evolution occurs at an exceptionally accelerated rate. This can manifest in various ways, such as rapid adaptation to changing environments, swift development of complex traits, or the emergence of entirely new species in a very short geological or even temporal timescale. The concept is often explored in science fiction and theoretical biology.

In biological contexts, hyperevolution would imply mechanisms that drastically increase mutation rates, enhance natural selection pressures, or introduce novel pathways for genetic transfer. This could lead to organisms that can change their physical characteristics, behaviors, or even fundamental biological processes within generations rather than millennia.
