Huippukohta
Huippukohta (Finnish for "peak point") is a geographic term used in Finnish to denote the highest point of a feature or route. The word combines huippu, meaning peak or summit, with kohta, meaning point. In practice, huippukohta refers to the location on a mountain, hill, ridge, or other landform where elevation is maximal within a defined area, or to the apex reached during a climb.
In cartography and field surveying, huippukohta may be marked as the summit or apex of a feature.
The term is descriptive rather than a formal scientific category; it is commonly used in Finnish-language materials
