Hoidettu

Hoidettu is a Finnish past participle of the verb hoitaa, meaning to take care of, manage, or treat. In contemporary Finnish it functions as a past passive participle and as an adjective meaning “taken care of” or “treated.” It is used to describe someone or something that has undergone care or treatment, often in medical, caregiving, or administrative contexts. For example, potilas on hoidettu can be translated as “the patient has been treated” or “the patient is being treated.”
