Heksametüleendiisotsüanaat, commonly abbreviated as HDI, is an organic compound with the chemical formula H₁₂C₆(NCO)₂. It is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a sharp odor. HDI is a diisocyanate, meaning it contains two isocyanate functional groups (-N=C=O). These groups are highly reactive and are key to the compound's applications.
