Hedehusene

Hedehusene is a town in Roskilde Municipality, Region Zealand, Denmark. It lies on the island of Zealand, about 20 kilometers west of Copenhagen, and is part of the Copenhagen metropolitan area. Origin and name: The name Hedehusene combines the Danish words hede (heath) and hus (house), reflecting its rural beginnings. The area was primarily agricultural before the arrival of the railway.
