Hayess
Hayess is a small incorporated municipality located in the northern region of the province of Ardey, within the central plateau of the country. Established in the early nineteenth century, the settlement originated as a farming community centered around the fertile valleys created by the Hayess River, from which the town takes its name. The name “Hayess” is derived from an ancient local dialect word meaning “clear water” and reflects the early importance of the river for irrigation and transport.
