Hardallows

Properties and applications: Properties commonly cited for hardallows include very high hardness and excellent wear resistance, especially against abrasive wear and metal-to-metal contact. Toughness is moderate and often relies on the metal binder; thermal and impact resistance vary with composition. Applications include cutting tools, drilling and mining tooling, wear parts, dies, and forming tools where extended tool life is valuable.
