Handstýringar
Handstýringar, often translated as "hand control" or "manual steering," refers to the direct, physical manipulation of a vehicle's direction by a human operator. This is the most common and traditional method of controlling wheeled vehicles. In its simplest form, handstýringar involves a steering wheel or handlebars, which are connected to the vehicle's wheels through a system of mechanical linkages. Turning the steering wheel or handlebars causes the wheels to pivot, altering the vehicle's trajectory.
The effectiveness of handstýringar is dependent on the driver's skill, the vehicle's design, and environmental conditions.
While autonomous driving systems are becoming more prevalent, handstýringar remains a fundamental aspect of driving education
